Wah Yan League Final

The 8th Wah Yan League was completed in last Sat (5 May 07). Representatives from both WYKPSA and WYHKPSA participated in the prize presentation.
After 11 rounds of competition, the Champion goes to Millennium (WYHK 2000), which is a new team to join the league this year.
The 1st-runner up is DELAY (WYK 2000), also a new team this year.
The 2nd-runner up is Nice Team (WYK).
The top scorer is again going to Philip Cheuk from SUPREME, who did get this prize for the past 5 years. But Defending champion FRIENDS only got the 6th this year.

Schedule Changed

Minor changes for the schedule on 14-Apr and 21-Apr. 75er Vs Nice Team will be swap with 75ers Vs S&P. New Schedule is highlighted in YELLOW in the attached file. Team Representatives are reminded to update your teammates.

Wah Yan Carpark

Due to the construction work at the campus of Wah Yan College Kowloon, the Carpark will be closed on this coming Saturday (10th March 2007). No cars are allowed to enter the school. To avoid any inconvenience caused, team representatives are reminded to tell your teamates as soon as possible.

Team Captains' Meeting

The 8th Wah Yan League will start again very soon in Mid-Nov.
As usual, there will be a Team Captains' Meeting before the commencement of the League.
Details are as followed:

Date : 28th October 2006
Time : 15:00
Venue : Wah Yan College Kowloon, Room 10-11

Each Team should have at least one representative to attend the meeting to discuss on the details of match regulations.
For the team that has an updated enrollment form, please prepare one copy including photos.

Please note that the Application Fee $1,200 and the deposit $400 will also be collected on the meeting. The payment is to "Wah Yan College Kowloon Past Students' Association".

New Tournament Launched

The 8th Wah Yan League Cup Football Tournament will be launched soon. The proposed details are as follows:

Date : Every Saturday, commencing on 4 November 2006 (tentative)
Time : 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Venue : Wah Yan College Kowloon, concrete football field
Deadline for enrollment extended to : 23 October 2006 (Monday)
The Team Captains' Meeting will be held on 28 October 2006 (Saturday) at 15:00 to discuss the rules and the grouping.
